Texmod.exe blocked - Guild Wars Forums

I have used lots of time Texmod for completing cartographer title; 100% elona 100% Cantha.I was try the 100% of tyria when Vista blocked Texmod. In fact yesterday i was trying to open the file but no response from it; i reboot PC but again Texmod was blocked. I have re downloaded it but winzip and zipgenius cant open it.Now i dont understand why Texmod have worked great all the times but since yesterday doesnt work. Some1 can help me?

Go into your Firewall settings and make a rule allowing it to be used. I know Firewall is internet stuff but beleive me it works...Norton (The Durex of the Internet) Blocks some stuff for me..but i just hit "unblock" and it usually clears it.

Certain virus scanning software accidentally identifies Texmod as a virus since it modifies and then opens another program (in this case, the Guildwars.exe). Just disable your firewall/protection program whenever you run texmod or as Berek said add texmod to your allowed programs list.

Or, it could be a trojan renamed as texmod.exe.

It's by far the easiest way to get "hacked". Don't go just randomly disabling firewall. Did it work before without blocking?
